The sleeveless chemise of ivory charmeuse, with dropped waist defined by blousing of bodice, the bodice front decorated with long string of graduated pearls descending in V to large waist ornament of variously shaped and sized pearl elements, the V back embellished with a yoke of knotted silk cord sewn with pearl ornaments, the skirt front elaborated with two pleated panels descending from front pearl ornament and looping under hem, the back with pointed panels trailing below hem, approximate size 12, labeled: Worth, and stamped in ink 76251.
Good condition, some discoloration and fragility at armsyces, discoloration on front pleated panels.
This and the following two lots comprise a wedding trousseau.
