Two Rudi Gernreich Day Glo Minidress Ensembles American, 1967; Together with an Issue of Time Magazine featuring the dresses
American, 1967
Each A-line, with matching knee-high booties and bikinis, of wool knit, with transparent plastic inserts, the first lime green, sleeveless, the plastic strip inserted horizontally at upper hip, the other hot pink with slightly extended shoulders, the strip running vertically from neck to navel, inset strips on booties oriented in same direction as dresses they match, sizes 6 and 8, each labeled: Rudi Gernreich Design for Harmon Knitwear; Together with December 1, 1967 Issue of Time Magazine, in which the dresses were featured on the cover with caption: "The Miniskirt is Here To Stay (Till Spring Anyway.")
Each excellent condition, unworn, minor moth holes in toes of booties, crack in one plastic piece on green bootie.
