Two Norell-Tassell Sequined Dresses
American, early 1970s
The first a fire engine red silk jersey cocktail dress with dolman sleeves, band neckline and band at waist, size 4, handwritten tape label: Audrey, the next a sapphire blue ensemble, comprising a sleeveless sequined chiffon surplice top with low V fold-over collar and a double layered full crystal pleated chiffon skirt, sequined tie belt, size 6, no label.
The first excellent condition, minor loses to sequins, the second good condition, some losses to sequins, discoloration at armscyes and general wear to skirt.
