HAVELL'S TURN, TRUDEAU'S TERN
Hand-colored engraving and aquatint by R. Havell. 1838, plate CCCCIX from The Birds of America, with J. Whatman 1837 watermark, pale lightstain and matstain, some darker staining at extreme sheet edges, handling creases, scattered foxing, some discoloration in the bottom margin, a pressure mark with some discoloration and a small puncture at left sheet edge, right sheet edge folded in 1/4 inch (with some splitting), some creasing, small nicks and tears at sheet edges (largest tear 5/8 inch), otherwise in good condition, with wide margins, framed.
