Additional Notes & Condition Report

Dirty varnish. Frame rubbing. Visible stretcher lines. 3/4 cm puncture in the lower left corner, in her shoulder. Small ding with loss in the lower right corner. small spots of paint loss, probably from frame rubbing or nail, in the lower left corner. Several abrasions at the lower right corner. Inpainting scattered: spots in the right side of her face; 1/4 of the area of her hair; around the perimeter of the painting (along the painted oval edges.) Few other scattered spots.

Frame - losses at upper center. Cracks throughout. Loss of gilt along the liner. Probably not original to the painting, but it is not a new frame. Has good age. ****We do not guarantee the condition nor the ages of frames.
