George I Inlaid Walnut Diminutive Lady's Bureau
Predominantly early 18th century
The rectangular top above a slant front writing lid opening to reveal an interior fitted with a central mirrored door flanked by small drawers and pigeonholes and a parquetry inlaid ground, over a full drawer, resting on a separate conforming part enclosing three full drawers, raised on a later conforming stand having cabriole legs ending in pad feet. Height 40 1/2 inches (1.08 m), width 25 inches (64 cm), depth 18 1/2 inches (47 cm).
