In two parts, the upper section with a molded cornice centering an elaborate scrolling decoration, and two panel inset doors, above a lower case having a slant front writing lid opening to reveal a fitted interior, over three full centrally concave drawers, raised on bracket feet. Height 8 feet 1 inch (2.46 m), width 48 1/2 inches (1.23 m), depth 25 inches (63.5 cm).
