Four-Character Qianlong Mark and of the Period
With deeply cut bands of fretwork at the mouths and feet, the vases are decorated on the stippled gilt ground with raised champleve designs of peony scrolls with blue ruyi head bands at the mouths and feet and with lappet and plaintain bands above and below the middle hemispheres. Height 14 1/4 inches (36.2 cm).
