Export Mandarin Palette Porcelain Punch Bowl Circa 1770-1780

Decorated on the interior with a spearhead border and a spray of citron and flowers in the cavetto, executed in black, gilt and rouge-de-fer. The exterior is painted with two different scenes of a man at leisure with ladies and children; dividing these two scenes are wide panels edged with C-scrolls and enclosing four cartouches of flowers and a sepia landscape. Diameter 10 1/4 inches (26 cm).
