Pale Green Jade Square-Section Gu
Four-Character Qianlong Seal and probably of the Period
Each face of the midsection is carved with a large taotieh and both upper and lower sections are carved with stylized lappets which spring from the midsection itself. The foot is hollow to a depth of about 6 cm and at the bottom is the square seal. Height 8 3/4 inches (22.3 cm).
