BUFF BREASTED SANDPIPER
Hand-colored engraving and aquatint by R. Havell, 1835, plate CCLXV from The Birds of America, with J. Whatman 1835 watermark, pale lightstain and matstain, handling creases, scattered foxing and other discoloration, left and bottom sheet edges folded in 1/4 inch (with some splitting), a few nicks and small tears at sheet edges (largest tear 1/4 inch), otherwise in good condition, with wide margins, framed.
