Two Japanese Fuchi-Kashira
19th Century
One shibuichi and ji-migaki, both pieces with sages and attendants, the kashira with a sage reading a scroll below a pine tree, in taka-bori of gold, copper,shibuichi and gold inlay; the other in shakudo and ishime, the kashira with a tiger seated in taka-bori of shakudo and inlaid gold, the fuchi with rocks and grasses by a stream incised and worked in taka-bori of shakudo and zogan of gold and copper, signed Miboku. Lengths 1 1/2 inches.
