Frame rubbing, with wear along edges. Few scattered scratches in the lower right corner with paint loss. Visible stretcher marks. Glue lined. 1 1/2 inch hairline scratch at lower left center. Dirty varnish. Difficult to detect inpainting under UV light through the varnish. There appears to be a 2 x 2 inch area of restoration in the lower left corner. Thin in some areas of the background (left center), apparently from a prior cleaning. 1 1/2 inch line of repaired damage in the dog's front right leg. Scattered fine craquelure.
