Pattern no. 2583, circa 1873-91
Of bulbous form, with foliate decorated reeded C-shape handles, the domed cover with ring-shape finial, decorated with bamboo shoots and an applied insect. Height 4 3/4 inches, approximately 8 ounces.

The rim or lip on the underside of cover is bent in a few spots.
