there are repairs to breaks in several areas, including where the arms join the stiles near the top of the back crest; a section of the wood has been replaced in this area on both sides of the chair; there is a small area of paint loss on the center splat located near the bottom of the painted basket; there are repairs to splitting or breaks on both of the curved supports below each arm; the seat appears to have been re-caned and appears to be in good condition; there is a split occuring along the top side of the center of the chair crest
