Riessner, Stellmacher & Kessel Amphora Co. Gres-Bijou Ceramic Vase
Designed by Eduard Stellmacher, circa 1900
Of squat tapering globular form, with a waisted neck and a modeled figure of a rooster perched on the shoulder, decorated with variously colored applied 'jewels' against a mottled gold and raspberry colored cratered surface. Height 17 1/4 inches.
