... London: H. Berthoud, 1825. First edition, with an interesting letter to the actor Richard Jones by Terry tipped-in regarding a portrait (though one was not, in the end, included). Later burgundy morocco by R. W. Smith, all edges gilt. 12 1/2 x 8 3/4 inches (31.5 x 22 cm); title, plate list and 20 very fine hand-colored plates of performers with accompanying text. Light binding wear, internally a clean copy.
