[xxviii], 175, [1], pp., plus two pages of errata; [2], [177]-400 pp., with 91 folding engraved plates of watch mechanisms etc. engraved and signed by Guillaume D'Heulland. Neatly rebacked, small loss to margin of first title, the plates and text generally clean and fresh.
This is one of the most comprehensive treatises on clockmaking of the period, describing both clock and watch mechanisms, tools etc. Baillie Clocks and watches pp. 203-204.
