Northampton ("Massachusets Colloney in New England"): 1 January 1684. 1 page manuscript document in ink with integral blank in the hand of John Pumry, the document signed by John Woodward and Anne Woodward and with their intact wax seals, the document being a land transfer in the vicinity of Northampton. 12 1/4 x 8 1/2 inches (31.5 x 22 cm). Folds, stains, worst at left, with very good examples of the wax seals.
This document sold as part of the library of Dr. O. O. Roberts of Northampton, American Art Association, 17 February 8, 1917, lot 1024.
