Contemporary mottled calf, rebacked with original spines laid down. 13 x 9 1/4 inches (33 x 24 cm); half-titles, 309, 297 [2] pp., with engraved title, 72 engraved plates by Tilliard after Monnet, and 24 engraved chapter summaries all under tissue guards.
