. Paris: pour les Amis du Docteur Lucien-Graux, 1942. This is example 97 from the edition of 125 signed copies. Original printed wrappers. 12 3/4 x 10 inches (32.5 x 25 cm); [48] pp., and 5 superb full-page plates by Schmied. Some wear to covers, faint spot to some text leaves.
Probably the last paintings Schmied did before his death in Morocco in 1941, this was 21st of the works published "pour les Amis du Docteur Lucien-Graux;" Graux died in Dachau in 1944. Nasti B 29.
