Ptesasaur Wing Claw Rhamphorhynchus
Cretaceous age, Morocco
Pterosaurs or winged lizzards, were one of the first species to succesfully take to the skies. Finding fossil examples from these animals is extremely rare, making it one of the most sort after kinds to obtain. The discovery of a claw is a paleontologist's dream and is almost unheard of. Some diligent and careful restoration has been completed using original bone fragments. Length 1 1/4 inches. Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
