Archaeological Revival Gold, Enamel, Sapphire and Diamond Swag Snake Chain Necklace and Bangle Bracelet
The snake link chain with four swags supporting three oval pendants centering domed panels embellished by one cushion-shaped and 2 emerald-cut sapphires, within a star pattern of old-mine cut diamonds approximately 1.00 ct., outlined in red enamel, framed by white enamel and gold decoration, edged by gold balls and rope-twist gold, each pendant topped by a double-horn motif, the tapered bangle of similar design, circa 1870, reverse of pendants with glazed compartments, approximately 64 dwts. Length 16 1/4 inches. Inner circle 6 1/2 inches.

Diamonds: I-J-K-VS-SI.
Small chip on red enamel of smaller star on pendant.
Bright rich yellow gold color. Very nice gold work.
Good condition. Normal wear, minor scratches to gold.
Center pendant 1 7/8 x 1 1/8 inches. 2 smaller pendants 1 1/2 x 7/8 inches.
Bangle: center panel 1 3/8 x 1 1/4 inches. Width of bangle 7/8 to 7/16 inch.
