Tibetan Gilt-Bronze Figure of Mahakala
Standing upon a prostrate figure and the belly of a horse on a lotus base, the fierce figure dressed in full armor with a necklace of skulls hanging from his shoulders, the right hand grasping a sword, the face with an open mouth bearing fangs, the round bulging eyes beneath bushy eyebrows all under a skull crown before the flaming wild hair. Height 10 1/2 inches.
