George III Brass-Mounted Mahogany Table Clock
The engraved silvered dial with Roman numerals and date aperture, signed J. Crossley London, the arch with STRIKE SILENT dial, the two-train five pillar movement with anchor escapement, with a floral and scroll-engraved backplate, the mahogany case with domed top, brass-mounted sound frets and corner finials, brass female herm canted corners and frets to the sides, raised on ball feet. Height 27 3/4 inches (70.5 cm), width 13 inches (33 cm), depth 7 1/4 inches (18.4 cm).
