The stepped top with dentil cornice above mullioned doors opening to adjustable shelves, the projecting lower section with fall-front drawer opening to a leather-lined writing panel and a prospect door flanked by drawers above pigeonholes, all over cupboard doors opening to a sliding shelf flanked by graduated drawers, on a molded plinth. Height 91 1/2 inches (232.4 cm), width 87 inches (221 cm), depth 24 1/2 inches (62.3 cm).

Fair condition with previous restorations throughout, ends reveneered, sunfading to upper section, cracks to several panes of glasses, lower section with veneer losses to top at left side and junctures of sections, molding off but present, handles later with plugs to drawer fronts, age cracks to sides, right cupboard door off and in need of reattchment, old marks and scratches, scuffs to plinth.
