Publisher's yellow pictorial cloth. 7 3/8 x 4 7/8 inches; xix, 135 pp.; frontispiece and plates after photographs, half-title. Minor smudging to cloth, spine ends lightly bumped, endpapers a bit toned, booksellers ticket to rear pastedown.
In his Introduction, Teddy Roosevelt says of this book, "No hunting trip more worthy of commemoration ever took place in Africa." With photographs of roping a wart-hog, hartebeest, serval-cat, cheetah, zebra, giraffe, rhino, and lioness. Czech, Africa, p. 249.
