Regency Mahogany, Ebony and Brass-Inlaid Cellaret in the manner of George Oakley
Early 19th century
The stepped top with ebony and brass-inlaid edge opening to a compartmentalized interior, the sides of the tapering case with gilt-metal lions' head ring handles and raised on ebonized paw feet with recessed brass casters. Height 21 inches (53.4 cm), width 27 inches (68.6 cm), depth 23 3/4 inches (60.5 cm).

Beautiful quality, mahogany secondary wood, stepped lid, front and sides with flame veneer, age crack to inlaid oval of top, interior with traces of foil to dividers, old marks and scratches, feet with recessed casters.
