R. Joly Art Nouveau Patinated Bronze and Bohemian Art Glass Three-Light Table Lamp Attributed to Loetz
Circa 1910
With a stylized naturalistic tree-trunk-form standard decorated with chestnut leaves and chestnuts, issuing downturned stems ending in ring-shaped mounts, now mounted with three iridescent bell-form shades, base signed R. Joly, shades unsigned. Height 16 3/4 inches; height of shades 3 3/4 inches.

Base: appears to be in generally good condition; uniform dullness to the patina, consistent with age, usage and handling; currently wired with silk cord, however, the lamp will needs to be rewired for safe use (plug is not grounded, i.e., wires are exposed (not covered); wiring and sockets not tested
Shades: each shade appears to be in generally good condition; no apparent hairline cracks, rim chips, etc.; one shade, however, has a small shallow nick to its fitter rim, not of any real significance; another shade has a somewhat large-size chip to its fitter rim (approximately 1/2 inch in length; not visible when mounted into position on the lamp); all three shades are similar in appearance, however, there are slight differences, for example, two of the shades have a vertical "zipper" type of decoration whereas the third shade is similar but has more of a solid vertical stripe; the interior diameter of the opening of the fitter rim is approximately 1 3/4 inches
