Bifolium with affixed wafer seal on the second sheet (address) verso, text written in brown ink in a reasonably legible courthand, signed at the head of the first leaf recto, approximately 28 lines dated Whitehall 28th of May 1625. Some minor foxing, minor wear to folds. Framed with a portrait.
Addressed to a group of Scots peers including Sir William Oliphant. "Having understoode that a submission was sent to our late dear father from diverse gentlemen and others neighboring with[in] the [...] of Glenalmond the right and title that they pretended thereto..."
