[ENGLISH ROYALTY] KING WILLIAM III [WILLIAM of ORANGE]. Document signed.
London: 18 January 1698. Single-page document in a secretarial hand signed at top "William R." Treasury document ordering the payment of 351 pounds to Samuel Rolles and Hugh Fortescue for 177 red deer for the park of the late Earl of Lincoln at Tottersall, countersigned by the Commissioners of the Treasury (Charles Montague; Sir Stephen Fox; and Thomas Pelham). 12 x 7 inches (30 x 18 cm). Accompanied by a later but early docketting sheet or even early auction cataloguing of the document on a separate bifolium. One creased corner, else fine.
