appears to be in generally good, undamaged condition; all of the glass 'jewels' appear to be present and intact; there is variation to the patina across each of the various top or side surfaces, consistent with age, usage and handling; the interior is lined with leather and a decorative fabric trim, however, the leather lining is lifting away from the side walls and the trim is partially detached; retains a key and the key does work to lock the box
