Paris: H. Georg, 1879. "Nouvelle Edition" with an unsigned inscription in purple ink "a Mademoiselle Guedin/hommage respectueux" likely in Eliot's hand but not verified. Sewn in publisher's wrappers as issued. 6 1/2 x 4 inches; 108 pp., translated by Charles Ritter. The text block detaching from wrapper, small loss at head of spine, the inscription attributed to Eliot but not verified, sold as is.
