George Jones Majolica Two-Tiered Cobalt-Blue Ground Oyster Stand

Impressed registry diamond (15-H-E-6) for 15 May 1869, black painted shape no. 2504
The top tier issuing a tall loop handle above three recessed pockets, the lower tier with six pockets, all trimmed with pink berried vine, the turquoise pockets lined in cobalt-blue, the underside in mottled green and brown, on a circular foot. Height 10 inches.
