Publisher's green cloth. 5 x 7 1/2 inches (12.5 x 19 cm); [1] 242, [1] pp. (including the advertisements on the pastedowns; the ads are p. 3-22; 210-242); two folding maps, engravings throughout, fine sporting ads included in the pagination. Very light wear, but a very attractive copy of this scarce sportsman's guide.
Includes a map of the region and a second of the railways (both prepared by Heber Bishop), accounts of the Megantic Club, game laws in the region, etc. This appears to have been an official publication of the Club. WorldCat shows but one copy of the 1877 and 1888 editions in institutional libraries.
