[all present]. Written in an "Army Book 136. Supplied Gratis", so labelled, bound in cream linen. 7 1/4 x 4 3/4 inches (18.5 x 12 cm); 96 pp. manuscript in a neat hand on lined paper. Some wear to covers, somewhat shaken in binding.
Bustar [now Bastar] is a region in Central India, and even today is quite forested. The (unknown and unidentified) author of this hunting diary successfully pursued tiger, sambur, buffalo, panther etc., and recounts his adventures in these pages in substantial detail.
