The Eagle Salmon Club was founded in 1957 when five fishermen, who had previously visited this remote river in Labrador, purchased an old abandoned cabin from the Hudson's Bay Company and began taking yearly Atlantic salmon fishing trips there. These three books reprint the club's original log books - "no attempt has been made to edit the grammar or the punctuation. It will be apparent to the reader that, in some cases, the log-keeper was highly stimulated, whether as a result of his fishing on that day or other reasons, we do not know." Rare - no copies at past auctions as per RareBookHub and ABPC, no copies available in the trade as per ViaLibri, and only 1 set in an institutional collection as per Worldcat.
