[MIDDLEBURY COLLEGE] A fine photographic album titled Middlebury College and its Surroundings.
[Middlebury: R.M. Bailey, Class of '72, and J.C. Harvey, Class of '81, 1881]. An oblong pebbled cloth album stamped in gilt "Middlebury College." 5 x 7 1/2 inches (12 x 19 cm); with a printed title page within a gold border, printed copyright, and short printed poems facing 12 mounted albumen photographs of the various buildings around the college. In attractive condition despite a few minor flaws. The corners rubbed, hinges cracked, lacks free endpaper, two small booklabels and two unobtrusive embossed library stamps within.

A rare small album with fine photographs and rhyming poems made by alumni. WorldCat lists four institutionally held copies.
