Spines a bit faded, light wear to cloth, minor foxing, in general an excellent uncut set in the rare cloth; together with ELLIOTT, C.[HARLES] B.[OILEAU]. Travels in the Three Great Empires of Austria, Russia, and Turkey. London: Richard Bentley, 1838. First edition. Two volumes, publisher's mauve cloth in modern slipcase. 8 3/4 x 5 1/2 inches (22.5 x 14.5 cm); 497, [1] pp; 517, [1] pp.; frontispieces, two maps. Spines faded, uncut as issued, rather toned and a bit foxed throughout.
