Publisher's green cloth, gilt design on upper cover, modern protective slipcase. 10 x 6 3/8 inches (16 x 25 cm); xii, 274 pp.; 12 plates in lithotint and chromolithograph by executed by Hanhart after the author's drawings. Very light binding wear, some scattered foxing internally but a very nice copy overall.
An interesting account by a woman traveler, whose brother was the British chaplain in Istanbul.
