New York: Leeds Music Corporation, 1949. Boldly signed by Langston Hughes on the title page. Stapled in red-printed blue paper wrapper. 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches (21.5 x 14 cm); [2], 38 pp. Wrapper with uneven fading, a few short tears along the top edge, 2 inch split along the foot of spine, staples pulled through from front wrapper but holding soundly on rear, pp. 32 and 33 toned from a since removed laid in slip of paper.
