An interesting group from the library of King's early editor Bill Thompson. Includes proofs, first and later editions. Comprising: Skeleton Crew, 1985, first edition, signed by King on the title page; Skeleton Crew, uncorrected proof in wrappers, 1985, some staining; Dans Macabre, the 1982 first paperback edition with an inscribed and signed holiday card laid-in ("Bill, thanks for making Dans Macabre happen...") and a humorously inscribed and signed Delta boarding pass dated 1976 laid-in ("Catch me wearing a Hollywood-type chain and I will sign all of my worldly goods over to you/Stephen King."); The Stand, 1990, first trade edition, the first complete and uncut printing; The Stand, proof copy of the 1990 uncut and complete trade edition (see previous), stains; Thinner, stated first printing, the Special ABA Edition, wrappers; Silver Bullet, stated first printing, 1985, wrappers; and Starmont Reader's Guide 16. Stephen King, stated first edition, 1982, wrappers, includes an early King bibliography at end.
