Sèvres Porcelain Gilt Oeil-de-Perdrix Mosaïque Ground Coffee-Cup and Saucer (Gobelet Calabre et sa Soucoupe)
Circa 1770, blue interlaced L's marks with a dot below the lower intersection, painter's marks for Vieillard above, the cup with potter's incised S, the saucer incised AS and JC
Painted with pastoral landscapes centering farm produce and implements within gilt surrounds, the border enriched with a mosaic pattern of blue and red floral dots pattern centering large gilt oil-de-perdrix, gilt line and dentil rims. Height of cup 3 1/8 inches (8 cm), diameter of saucer 6 1/4 inches (15.8 cm).

André Vincent Vieillard, père, was a painter active at Sèvres 1752-1790.
