Vincennes or Early Sèvres Porcelain Bleu Céleste Ground Coffee-Can and Saucer (Gobelet Litron et sa Soucoupe)
Circa1758, blue interlaced L's enclosing two dots at each intersection, the cup with a faint painter's mark N possibly for Aloncle, the saucer incised 41
Painted with flowers within a gilt floral trellis surround, gilt dentil rims. Height of cup 3 inches. Together with Two Sèvres Style Louis Philippe Monogrammed Coffee-Cups and Saucers, Late 19th century, spurious marks and a Sèvres (Later-Decorated) Milk-Jug, the porcelain 18th century, the decoration later.
François Joseph Aloncle was recorded as a painter of birds, animals and emblems at Sèvres active 1758-1781.

Two monogrammed cups and saucers - Overall nice condition, lightly worn.
Jug - Overall nice condition, light wear to the gilding at the high-points on the raised decoration.
Coffee-can and saucer - Overall very nice condition, light surface wear to the saucer and light wear to the gilt dentil rim on the cup, a firing flaw at the rim above the handle.
