Each piece with ribbon-tied reeded border, engraved with initial E beneath a Russian Imperial crown; comprising: a table mirror; four silver-mounted bottles with detachable covers; four silver-mounted jars; two hair brushes; two clothes brushes; a hand mirror; a pair of small candlesticks; a shoe horn, a nail file, a glove stretcher and an oval pin tray, contained in the original wood case, labeled GUSTAVE KELLER FABRICANT FOURNISSEUR BREVETE DE S.M. LA REINE D'ESPAGNE 22 RUE JOUBERT PARIS.
Width of case 24 inches (61 cm).
The initial is that of Grand Duchess Elena Vladimirovna, Princess Nicholas of Greece (1882-1957), daughter of Grand Duke Vladimir Alexandrovich of Russia (1847-1909) and mother of Princess Marina, Duchess of Kent.
