Two Tiffany Wheel-Engraved Gold Favrile Ribed Glass Bowls
Circa 1915
Comprising a larger example with a scalloped rim, in transparent amber colored glass, decorated with intaglio grapevine motifs, iridized, engraved L.C. Tiffany-Favrile, and a smaller example, also in transparent amber colored glass, similarly decorated and iridized, engraved L.C.T. Favrile. Height of taller 3 1/4 inches, diameter 7 1/4 inches.

Larger Bowl: appears to be in generally good, undamaged condition; there are some very small (minor) nicks to the top rim edge, not of any real consequence, as well as some rubbing (loss) to the iridescence along the the top rim edge, commensurate with age and usage; there is a concentration of short scratchmarks, located in an area at the center of the bowl; there are a few scattered internally trapped pinhead-size air bubbles in the body of the glass, in the making, not of any consequence
Smaller Bowl: there is a hairline crack originating at the rim that extends downwards, approximately 1 1/4 inches in length; there are a few internally trapped air bubbles in the body of the glass, in the making, not of great consequence; height of bowl 2 1/2 in.; diam. 6 1/4 in.
