Tiffany Gold Favrile Glass Flower-Form Tall Compote
Circa 1915
Of flower form, with a circular shallow bowl raised on a straight, slightly bulging stem and ending in a domed circular foot, in transparent amber colored glass, iridized, engraved L.C.T. Height 10 7/8 inches, diameter 5 3/4 inches.

appears to be in generally good, undamaged condition; there is a slight raised "ripple" line that originates at a point at the top rim edge and swirls in a downward direction towards the center of the bowl, as made, not of any real consequence; there is a very small, pinhead-size internally trapped air bubble at the surface of the glass, located on the underside of the bowl, in the making, not of any consequence; there are a few scattered small mildew (?) spots, located on the underside of the bowl, which reveal themselves when a strong light source is held close to the object, not of any consequence; the compote stands nice and straight; there are nice strong pink and golden highlights to the iridescence, notably, at the interior side of the bowl and along the top outer edge of the foot
