The binding nearly defective with detached boards and lacking spines, some prelims detached, each volume with the booklabel of Barton Currie; Together with Illustrations to Washington Irving's Life of George Washington. Quarto Edition. Proofs in India Paper. Numerous proof prints laid into four (of five) portfolios, without portfolio for volume four. The books and additional prints not fully collated and the lot sold as is.
