Two volumes, contemporary calf with red and green lettering labels. 10 1/2 x 8 1/4 inches (27 x 21 cm); with 2 frontispieces, engraved title, 7 maps (one folding), 1 plan, and 57 plates (one folding), 719, 644 pp., index at end, with list of subscribers in volume I, without instructions to binder. An attractive set, the joints starting, minor rubbing and spotting within, as plate counts vary with this work, sold as is.

The works of Josephus, here finely bound in contemporary English tree calf.
