Engraved map, hand colored, central fold, latin text on Belgium to verso. 15 x 19 in (38 x 48.5 cm) to the neatline, this map originally published in a later edition of the Theatrum Orbis Terrarum depicts Ortelius' home country, displaying four highly-decorated cartouches. Staining along fold; SURHON, [JACQUES AND ABRAHAM ORTELIUS]. Nobilis Hannoniae Comitatus Descrip[tio]. [Antwerp: Abraham Ortelius], 1579. Engraved map, hand colored, central fold, latin text on verso. 14 1/2 x 19 in (37 x 48.5 cm) to the neatline, this map belonging in a relatively early edition of Ortelius' Theatrum Orbis Terrarum; SENEX, [JOHN].
